Madison Theatre presents “An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein: A Tribute to Joan Roberts”. (In association with South Shore Theatricals) Proceeds will help fund a scholarship fund for vocal performance majors at Molloy College.

Featuring Stars from Broadway, TV and Film…with the COS orchestra.

Cast will include:
Frank Basile, Nikki Renee Daniels, Nina Hennessey, David Hibbard, Timothy Hughes, Jeff Kready, Aylse Alan Louis, Lee Meriwether, Marni Nixon, Lee Roy Reams, Sal Viviano and more!

South Shore Theatricals wishes to dedicate its premiere production, “An Evening of Rodgers & Hammerstein,” produced in cooperation with the Madison Theatre at Molloy College, as a tribute to our late board member and advisor Joan Roberts, a strong supporter of the performing arts on Long Island, and Molloy College in particular, helping to raise the funds that built the Hays Theater. We will perform this tribute on May 25 at the Madison Theater at Molloy College.

Joan Roberts spent the latter part of her life supporting theatre here on Long Island. She was particularly noted for giving performers from Long Island great encouragement in furthering their theatrical pursuits. Joan was also “The original ‘Laurey’” from “Oklahoma!”
